Every sorter’s age, background and nationality gives them a different perspective on clothing

 
The people who work as sorters at Gebotex are the face of our company and, with their knowledge and experience, determine the quality of our sorting. 

Depending on how busy we are, an average 80 to 90 people work at Gebotex. Most of our staff are employed in sorting, where after a training period in pre-sorting, they produce an average 2,850 kilos per person per day. 

Sorting and dispatch are supervised by a team of working foremen who are in turn supervised by management. Gebotex is a flat organisation with short lines of communication. We aim for a high level of efficiency in which all employees contribute as much as possible to the production process directly. 

The material and condition of the textiles is assessed, but fashion aspects also have a role to play. Experience teaches that in general, ladies have a better understanding of clothes, quality and fashion, and as such our sorting departments are largely staffed by women. 

In addition, each sorter’s age, background and nationality gives her a different perspective on these aspects. This means that the products sorted at Gebotex are always unique.
